Based in Leicestershire, the pipe band was formed in 2002 and is running stronger than ever with over 20 members, and a strong learner section. Our members come from all over the Midlands including Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Linconshire!
We can provide a range of services from a single piper, mini band, wedding bands or a full traditional marching pipe band to make your event one to remember! We are available for events all around the UK!
The full band
practice is on a Monday evening from 7.30-10 pm, at Shepshed Baptist Church. We
are always interested to hear from any new players, whether you are an
experienced player or just a beginner. To learn more about the band, follow the
links around the page, or contact our band secretary.

We are the Leicestershire and Rutland County Pipe Band. The band was formed in 2002, and was initially called the Quorn RBL Pipe Band. Our band chairman is Mr Peter Towers who helped start the band in 2002.
The band wears a traditional Highland uniform, with an ancient hunting McRae Tartan in glengarries with a blue and yellow hackle.
Our musical
direction is provided by Pipe Major Bill Pepper, and Drum Sergeant Rod
Masters. Throughout the years, the band has played at hundreds of
different events, including County Shows, Concerts, Parades, Weddings,
Corporate Events, competitions and many more. For more information contact us.
